Unit price perGreatHAY’s awnless Wheaten Hay (no beard) is made from the Cessario wheat, a specialist hay variety. Perfect hay for cattle or other livestock requiring quality bulk fodder. The colour is B grade as it received 12.5mm of rain whilst in windrows prior to baling. Packaged in big square, 6-string bales 8x4x3ft averaging 530kg (baler weights). Stored in a new 3-sided shed with insulated roof, guttering and compacted gravel floor. Moisture average 12% (9% to 17%). Very clean crop with less than 1% weeds (rye grass). Less than 5% have one broken string as we had trouble with a knotter during baling (IFYKYK). Price is ex-farm Canowindra, NSW.
